  Materials Required:— Large cork, tiny piece of brown paper, a fragment of cotton wool, needle, strong thread, penknife, scissors. Figs. 29 and 30. This also is of cork, shaped out to rather a point at the head and cut flat underneath. Cut little nicks on each side to define the feet. The ears are of brown paper cut like Figure 30, with corners folded over and glued or put on with a stitch of strong linen thread, small dot of ink or a small bead makes the eye. |
