The same voice speaks as the days of eld,

Since the human race began,

Enmeshed in the woof and weave of life,

Designed in the form of man.

It spoke the dawn of his natal day,

It is speaking today as then,

The voice that speaks is the voice of God,

From out of the mouths of men.
