The quality of the illustrations in the original book were generally acceptable, however the illustration of Frederiksberg Palace was definitely the worst in terms of clarity and detail—that is the way it appeared in the original book. Also, a little research has led me to question whether that illustration is representative of the way the Ferderiksberg Palace appeared during the events of this book (1751-1771), or if it is the way the Palace appeared after the gardens in front were redesigned 1795-1804.
