In general every effort has been made to replicate the original text as faithfully as possible, including some instances of no longer standard spelling. However, obvious punctuation errors have been repaired. Hyphenation has been standardized. The following changes were made to repair apparently typographical errors (in both cases, the letter 't' was missing although a space had been left for it):

p. 131 "My grandfather is an importan man" 'importan ' changed to 'important'
p. 274 "he could not realise tha his" 'tha ' changed to 'that'
