PUSSY AND THE SNOW.

Previous

Pussy:—born last summer—
Never saw the snow
Till this winter morning
Just an hour ago.
"Oh! what pretty lamb's-wool!"
Said she; when it began
To fall; "I'll go and play with it."
And out-of-doors she ran.
But back again, astonished,
In greatest haste came she.
"That is the queerest, coldest wool
That ever I did see!"

OUTSIDERS.
Small Boy (who has been waked up by the music at an evening party). "They are just going down to Supper. Don't you smell the Ice-Cream and Cake and things."

UNNECESSARY REQUEST.
Brother on Sled. "Don't push too quickly, Alice."
