523 Zachmeheath ????????.—A small shrub, growing close on the ground, covering it with its foliage; it is found by the side of fields of water; it is of two kinds, the leaf of one small and thin, those of the other broad and thick. The first kind is excellent in the cure of piles: thus, dried in the shade, pounded, sifted, and taken every morning in the quantity of a palmful with water, for fourteen days; and every night at bed-time, taking 12 mashas of KÚnd Sia, and during its use abstaining from all acids, or other things, which may produce wind.
