Very pretty for babies' quilts, done in shaded wool and large pins. Cast on an uneven number of stitches. First row:—Knit 1 stitch, bring wool forward, slip 1 the reverse way, pass the wool back, and repeat. Second row:—Seam the stitch that was slipped in the last row, pass the wool back, slip 1 the reverse way, bring the wool forward, and repeat. Continue these 2 rows till the knitting is large enough. |
