On a dark and stormy night Far ahead shined a little light, It was a warning With sorrow dawning, For the train that approached. Fastly into sight Towards the bridge that held ill fate The flagman awakened but a moment to late, For there flowed through a madly stream Lifting the bridge clear off its beam.
