Fragrant Arabian Gums, employ’d with Art,
From Worms and Dust preserve our meaner Part;
But Labours, such as yours, enliven Fame,
And with due Elogies preserve a Name;
They’ll make the Worthies of the Age to come
Just Homage pay, and venerate your Tomb.
Greenhill, proceed in Learning’s Paths to tread,
And make your self Immortal by the Dead;
Be this your Praise, with equal Skill you strive
To Embalm the Dead, and keep your Friends alive.
