MATERIALS

BERNAT Riviera (1 oz. pull skeins)—8 each of Wine and White

BERNAT Super Knitting Worsted (2 oz. skeins)—2 White

1 pair 14 inch knitting needles No. 10½

1 bone crochet hook No. 6

GAUGE: 3 sts = 1 inch

DIRECTIONS: Using 1 strand each of Wine and White Riviera, cast on 171 sts. Work in seed st for 3 rows. Continuing in seed st, dec 1 st each end of needle every 3rd row 6 times. Then dec 1 st each end of needle every other row until 55 sts remain. Then dec 1 st each end of needle EVERY ROW until 3 sts remain. Bind off. FINISHING: Using double yarn, work 1 row s c on all edges. Block. Cut strands of Knitting Worsted 12 inches long. Using 3 strands, knot fringe in every s c along shaped edges.
