In the first part of this HTML book, the combination of vowels in a single syllable occurring in synÆresis and synaloepha is marked with an overline spanning all the vowels joined, as in “SerÁ alma” in page xxxi. In the printed book this was indicated with a curved arch above the letters ? similar to the sign used in musical notation for ties and slurs. Changes to the original publication (possible typographic errors or inconsistencies) have been marked with a dotted underline, and the printed text may appear in a “pop-up box” when hovering the cursor on it. There is also a list of changes at the end of the book. |
