1. The antelope (Antilocapra americana) has been introduced into the Yakima Valley by the state of Washington, Department of Game. 2. The elephant seal (Mirounga angustirostris) has been discovered off the coast of Washington (Seattle Times, April 15, 1947, p. 3). 3. The yellow-pine chipmunk of the Blue Mountains has been described as a new subspecies, Eutamias [Tamias] amoenus albiventris Booth, Murrelet, 28 (no. 1):7, 1947.
