RICE GRIDDLE CAKES

Previous

1/2 cup boiled rice
1/4 cup of flour
1 egg
A pinch of salt
1½ teaspoonsful of baking powder
Enough milk to make a thin batter

When the griddle or pan is hot, fry the cakes in salt pork dripping or lard, drop a spoonful at the time. These are good rice cakes.
