Persons not residing in the establishment are at liberty to take their meals at the public table at the following charge:—
The small town of Freiwaldau, near GrÄfenberg, being chiefly devoted to the accommodation of visitors, affords a desirable place of residence, at remarkably low prices: a single man may have an apartment at from 3s. to 5s. a-week; a family, at from 10s. to 20s. a-week. All articles of consumption are remarkably cheap; for instance, beef and mutton, 3d. per pound; veal, 2½d.; pork, 3½d.; bread and vegetables in proportion. |
