Beat the yolks of 12 eggs with 1 pound of pulverized sugar, grate the peel of 1 orange and 1 lemon, add the juice of both, then add the beaten whites of 8 eggs and ½ pound sifted flour. ICING—To the beaten whites of 2 eggs add a little confectioners’ sugar, grate the peel of 1 large orange, adding the juice of same alternately with sugar until quite stiff.
