2 gallons chopped cabbage, 2 gallons chopped tomatoes, 1 gallon chopped cucumbers, ½ gallon chopped onions. Salt each separately and let stand twelve hours. Then wash thoroughly, squeezing through a cloth. Mix all the ingredients together, adding 3 large red peppers, chopped fine, 3 small hot peppers, chopped fine, ½ pint of celery seed, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 gallon of vinegar.
